9Dot HR Team Attends SHRM Conference 2023!
Attending the SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) conference in Las Vegas was an incredibly rewarding and memorable experience! From the moment we arrived, we could feel the energy and enthusiasm in the air as more than 20,000 HR professionals from around the globe gathered to share knowledge, network, and learn from industry experts.
The exhibition hall was bustling with activity, featuring numerous booths showcasing innovative HR products and services. It was a great opportunity to connect with vendors, explore the latest HR technologies, and gather valuable insights to enhance my organization’s HR practices.
One of the highlights of the conference was keynote speaker President Bill Clinton where he gave a unique perspective into his time as a world leader and his continued efforts since leaving the Oval Office as a global philanthropist and humanitarian! The 42nd president also touched on the Family and Medical Leave Act which he signed into law in 1993, and called for lawmakers to update this legislation to include a phase-in component to help small businesses adjust to the requirement.
Renowned thought leaders, HR practitioners, and industry experts delivered engaging and thought-provoking presentations. Their talks covered a wide range of topics, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and emerging HR trends.
The speakers shared their real-life experiences, practical strategies, and best practices, leaving us inspired and motivated to implement positive changes within our own organization.
Overall, our experience at the SHRM conference in Las Vegas was outstanding. The conference provided an enriching and comprehensive learning environment, equipped us with valuable insights and best practices, and allowed us to build a strong professional network. It was a fantastic opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while enjoying the dynamic atmosphere of Las Vegas.
